    2.0 is a 2018 Indian 3D science fiction-action film[3] directed by S. Shankar and co-written by Shankar with B. Jeyamohan. The film was produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions. A sequel to Enthiran (2010), it features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and K. Ganesh appear in supporting roles. In addition to its original language, the film was also released in Hindi and Telugu. The soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics written by Madhan Karky and Na. Muthukumar.

    Produced on an estimated budget of ₹543 crore (US$76 million), 2.0 is the most expensive Indian film. Pre-production work for the film began in June 2015. Jackson joined the project the same year in October. After negotiations with numerous actors, including Aamir Khan and Arnold Schwarzenegger, failed to materialize, Kumar was signed on as a primary persona. Principal photography was launched at AVM Studios in December 2015; the first schedule was filmed at EVP World. Scenes were primarily shot in India, particularly in Chennai’s Madras Boat Club and Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Some were set in exotic locations by the use of visual effects. Filming was completed by August 2017. It was released worldwide on 29 November 2018.

    India faces a threat from Pakshi Rajan (Akshay Kumar), a human who mutated into an avian creature and uses smartphones as weapons. Vaseegaran aka Vasee (Rajinikanth) decides to help the government by reviving the superpowered andro-humanoid robot Chitti (also Rajinikanth) along with his newly invented andro-humanoid robot Nila (Amy Jackson) to eliminate Pakshi Rajan.

    The plot revolves around a struggling street photographer Rafi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), based in Mumbai, who works day and night to pay off an old family debt. His grandmother (Farrukh Jaffar) wishes to see him married and constantly pressures him to find a suitable match. He convinces his grandmother by showing her a picture of a shy stranger, Miloni (Sanya Malhotra). When Rafi’s grandmother further prods to introduce her to his fiancé, he tracks down Miloni, a student belonging to a middle-class family. Rafi convinces her to fake their relationship, to which Miloni readily agrees. Despite the difference in their culture, status and economic background, the two form a unique bond. The film is a love letter to Mumbai, bringing the city out as a character sheltering the two protagonists and their extraordinary journey.

    Zero is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film, written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L. Rai. It was jointly produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment’s Gauri Khan, and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. It follows Bauua Singh, a short man from Meerut who, after having difficulty finding a marriage partner, finds a companion in Aafia Bhinder, a NASA scientist with cerebral palsy. However, leading superstar Babita also gets close with him, testing his first relationship. This love triangle takes them to far-off cities, and thrusts Bauua on an adventure to discover both his true love and completeness in a life lived to the fullest.

    Produced on an budget of ₹200 crore (US$28 million), Zero is Khan’s most expensive film. The film was conceived by Rai in 2012, after he was inspired by the superhero genre. Pre-production began in 2016. Initially having a working title of Katrina Meri Jaan, Zero went through numerous title changes before arriving at the final title in early 2018. Principal photography of the film began in Mumbai on May 2017. It marked the last film appearance of Sridevi, who died shortly after completing the film. Filming concluded in 2018 at Orlando. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Ajay-Atul with lyrics written by Irshad Kamil, under the label T-Series.

    It was released on 21 December 2018, to mixed reviews from critics. Critics particularly praised the film’s visual effects and the performance of Khan, but the screenplay was criticised for its inconsistency. It earned ₹20.14 crore nett in India on its first day.

    Akash is a pianist who pretends to be blind all day spends his time attempting to complete a musical piece. He lives with his cat and often encounters a neighbouring kid who keeps testing him in attempts to see if he is truly blind. Akash is knocked over while crossing the road one day by Sophie who is awed by his talent and gets him a gig at her father’s diner where he is noticed by yesteryear actor Pramod Sinha. Pramod is married to Simi and invites Akash over to his apartment for a private performance to commemorate their wedding anniversary. Sophie and Akash develop a relationship. When Akash reaches Sinha’s flat, Simi opens the door and is reluctant to let him in, but does so when she sees that her neighbour is watching them. Simi, convinced that Akash is blind, allows him to play the piano inside. Akash quickly notices a body nearby but feigns ignorance and continues to play the piano to maintain his charade of blindness. He also sees Inspector Manohar in the bathroom hiding. On his return to the piano, he manages to identify the body as that of Sinha. Simi and Manohar clean the body up silently and put it in a suitcase while Akash plays the piano.

    S.K (Shahid Kapoor), Nauti (Shraddha Kapoor), and Tripathi (Divyendu Sharma) are childhood friends. S.K is a hypocrite, mean lawyer making money from out of court settlements. Nauti is an over the top fashion designer who thinks highly of herself.

    Mohalla Assi (transl. The neighbourhood of Assi Ghat; Hindi pronunciation: [moːɦəllaː əssiː]) is a 2018 Indian Bollywood satirical comedy drama film starring Sunny Deol, and directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi.

    The film is loosely based on Dr. Kashi Nath Singh’s popular Hindi novel Kashi Ka Assi, a satire on the commercialisation of the pilgrimage city, and fake gurus who lure the foreign tourists. Assi Ghat is a ghat in Varanasi (Banaras) on the banks of Ganges River, and the film is based in a famous and historical ‘Mohalla’ (locality) by the ghat, on the southern end of Banaras. Also starring Ravi Kishen and Sakshi Tanwar, the film is set in the post-independence period.

    Sunny Deol plays the lead role of Sanskrit teacher and an orthodox religious priest (Pandit) while Sakshi Tanwar plays his wife. The story of the film goes through the events in 1990 and 1989 including Ram Janmabhoomi movement and Mandal Commission implementation.

    On 30 June 2015, the release of Mohalla Assi was stayed by a Delhi court for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.[5] After so much delay, Mohalla Assi finally released on 16 November 2018.

    The morning of 11 September 1967, the engineers and soldiers of Indian Army Mountain division in Chumbi valley starts laying the stretch of fencing from Nathu La to Sebu La along the perceived border. A Chinese Political Commissar, with a section of Infantry, comes to the centre of the pass where an Indian Lieutenant Colonel is standing with his commando platoon. The Chinese Commissar asks the Indian Colonel to stop laying the wire. Indian soldiers refuse to halt, saying they were given orders.The Chinese are into propaganda against Indian government by using Loud speakers across the border. An argument starts which soon turns into a scuffle alongside the perceived border.

    After a while, the Chinese side follows by planting bunkers in No man’s land, and starts stone pelleting against Indian troops from south shoulder, and machine gun firing from north shoulder. Due to the lack of cover in the pass, the Indian troops initially suffer heavy casualties. Shortly thereafter, the Chinese opens artillery against the Indians. A little latter, Maj. General Sagat Singh, (Jackie Shroff) orders Lt. Col. Rai Singh Yadav, (Arjun Rampal), CO 2 Grenadiers troop to open artillery from their side. The clashes lasts through the day and night, for the next three days, with use of artillery, mortars and machine guns, during which the Indian troops beat back the Chinese forces. Five days after the clashes had started, an “uneasy” ceasefire was arranged due to chinese psychological warfare.

    Due to the advantageous position Indian troops had because of their occupation of high grounds at the pass in Sebu La and Camel’s back, they were able to destroy many Chinese bunkers at Nathu La. Later, On 1 October 1967, another clash between India and China takes place at Cho La, another pass on the Sikkim–Tibet border, a few kilometers north of Nathu La, the Chinese troops infiltrate into the Sikkim-side of the border, and claim the pass, the Indian troops again beat back, and Chinese forces withdraw from Cho La.
